Blue Car is sick

Our car broke down on Monday! We had just filled the car up with gas and went to turn it on, and nothing. The car would not turn on! We had been having random problems turning the car on but by the second try it would work. This time we did it....we were stuck at the gas station with a full tank of gas and a car that would not turn on!

We called a tow truck and my Aunt, who drove Sienna and myself home to get the other car. By the time Sienna and I got back to the gas station (only a mile from our house but too far for a pregnant lady to walk) the tow truck was getting the Ford hooked up. Sienna saw this and started to panic. As soon as the tow truck lifted the Ford up onto the bed of the truck Sienna let out with scream and started to cry and yell : "Not the blue car, My blue car!" The poor girl was very upset.

We told her that the blue car was sick and that Dr. Meineke would fix it. All that night she talked about the car and even prayed that the blue car would be fixed and come home.

The next morning she woke up asking where the blue car was. We told her that Dr. Meineke was fixing it and that we would pick it up later that night. She was okay with that answer but was still very worried about her blue car.

On our way to pick up the blue car and had to stop and get gas in the Honda. Sienna's comment was, "Oh No...don't get stuck white car". When she saw the blue car, she ran up to it, gave it a hug and a kiss and was so happy it was back at home. She even thanked Heavenly Father in her prayers for the blue car!

We had no idea that she was so attached to the Ford!

By the way....we had to get a new starter and the car runs like a champ now :)

I'm glad you got it all worked out. That's funny that Sienna was so upset about it.

Love reading Sienna stories, and catching up on all your recent travels. I got to see your parents at the kermesse. So cool that you are already 32 weeks!
